Angela Scarfia is a 26 year old accessories designer who started Scarfia Designs in October 2011. Even though she has two degrees, a B.A. in Apparel Design and a M.A. in Student Affairs, her accessory creations began with basic supplies and no education in the field. The community’s love for Angela’s creations is what made her turn simple personal created earrings into a brand, building to carry all varieties in accessories. Since Scarfia’s establishment in 2011, Angela’s designs have been featured in an international magazine, broadcasted on national TV for BET’S Rip the Runway and have earned her the title of RAW Artists Accessories Designer of the Year in NYC for 2012. Her recent diet change to vegetarian inspired her to launch the “Go NAKED” Vegan Handbag line and Community Awareness campaign in March 2013. Starting from humble beginnings, Scarfia now includes handmade jewelry, vegan belts and vegan handbags.
